Join the Van Buren Community Players for an unforgettable evening where dinner will be served first, followed by an engaging play.This is a mystery dinner theatre where the audience becomes part of the pie auction. After years of trying unsuccessfully, the small town of Mynute, Alaska, finally lands the famous Mother Mabel’s Pie Baking Competition.
The contest looks to be a disaster with no media or publicity. To add to the tension, one of the contestants is writing a tell-all book about the sordid side of competitive pie baking. Making matters even worse, just hours before the competition begins, someone goes missing. When they turn up dead, the characters turn on each other as they try to figure out who committed the murder.
Dinner consists of: mixed greens salad, beef braised pot roast, vegetarian rice pilaf, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, mixed vegetable medley, yeast roll. Refreshments are water and lemonade.
