Murder at the Gaslight is both an immersive experience and a community fundraiser.All proceeds benefit The Table Food Truck, an initiative of First Christian Church Ministries, which serves free meals in low-income communities, meeting people where they are and providing nourishment, dignity, and care to those in need.
For many children in our community, school provides more than education—it provides consistent, reliable meals. When summer break begins, that support often disappears, leaving families to bridge a gap they may not be prepared to fill. This fundraiser directly supports efforts to ensure children continue to receive nourishing meals during the summer months, when access is limited and need is high. By coming together for this event, we are helping sustain a vital source of care for local children who rely on these programs, ensuring that hunger does not become part of their summer story.
What to Expect at Murder at the Gaslight
Step back in time to the 1930s, where whispered conversations, hidden dealings, and elegant intrigue fill the air. Murder at the Gaslight is an immersive Prohibition-era experience—one that asks every guest to fully step into the world of the evening.
1930s-inspired attire is required for all guests.
From tailored suits and evening dresses to fedoras, gloves, and vintage accessories, dressing the part is essential to creating the atmosphere that makes this night unforgettable.
The evening blends refined dining, social interaction, and live mystery gameplay, allowing guests to immerse themselves in a world where nothing is quite as it seems. Some guests will arrive with assigned character roles, while others will observe, question, and piece together clues as events unfold. No acting experience is needed—just a willingness to participate and lean into the moment.

6:00 – 7:00 PM | Cocktail Hour
Guests arrive in full 1930s attire and are welcomed into the ambiance of the evening while enjoying passed hors d’oeuvres:

Ticket Options
There are two ways to join the fun:
Character Role – $150
Step fully into the mystery with a pre-assigned character, complete with a detailed folder of background information and secrets. Only 25 of these tickets are available, so secure your role early! Your character folder will be available for pick-up one week prior to the event, giving you time to study your part and prepare for an immersive experience.
Town Folk – $100
Observe, mingle, and follow the unfolding mystery as a townsperson. Ask questions, collect clues, and enjoy the intrigue without playing a specific character. 50 tickets available.
