Municipal Landscape Management Training Series - Tree Care

Join Price City and Utah State University Extension for an interactive online training focused on tree care and plant pathology.

Carbon County Extension Faculty Steven Price and Urban Forestry Extension Specialist Miles Becker will provide you with principles, best practices, and training you can use in your daily work to better care for the trees in your area, prevent future damage, diagnose and treat common diseases and pests, and get tips and resources for selecting the right tree for the right place.

These experts bring decades of experience to your fingertips. Attending this training will get you prepared to attend the hands-on field demonstrations that will follow on May 26-27th.

Training Structure:

The training will be held online, and a zoom link will be provided via email once you register. You are encouraged to attend the training with other professionals like you to allow for networking and shared questions and answers, however this is not required. Information regarding where you can participate in the online training as a group will be provided via email after you register.

This training series was created to provide tailored training to organizations that manage large and often complex landscapes such as municipalities, school districts, county departments, and landscape maintenance companies.
