Municipal Landscape Management Training Series - Design and Horticulture

Join Price City and Utah State University Extension for the third interactive online training in the Municipal Landscape Management Training Series. This training is focused on turfgrass management and soil science.  

Dr. Kelly Kopp, Extension Water Conservation and Turfgrass Management Specialist and her team will introduce you to the basics of soil science to help you know how to apply soil science principles to understand and improve the health of the landscapes manage. You will also learn how to manage your turfgrass to maximize turf health while minimizing watering requirements.  

These experts bring decades of experience to your fingertips. Attending this training will get you prepared to attend the hands-on field demonstrations that will follow on May 26-27th.  

Training Details:

The training will be held online, and a zoom link will be provided via email once you register. You are encouraged to attend the training with other professionals like you to allow for networking and shared questions and answers, however this is not required. Information regarding where you can participate in the online training as a group will be provided via email after you register. 

This training series was created to provide tailored training to organizations that manage large and often complex landscapes such as municipalities, school districts, county departments, and landscape maintenance companies.
