Munich at The Market Oktoberfest

Time Out Market Boston is hosting its first-ever Munich at The Market Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 3. The celebration brings German beer, Bavarian-inspired bites, live music and Munich beer hall energy to The Fenway. Guests can enjoy a weight-class stein-holding competition, Oktoberfest photo opportunities and a free sweepstakes for gift cards and collectible artisanal German steins.

A ticketed beverage tasting features more than 50 selections, including draft-only beers, German spirits and German wines. A web-based product catalog lets guests save their favorites.

Participating Market vendors will serve Oktoberfest specials with their own culinary twists, including Inchu’s Korean bratwurst with kimchi, caramelized onion and gochujang mustard, Anoushella’s Mediterranean Oktoberfest platter with grilled sujuk and merguez, sumac sauerkraut, tahini mustard and pita, Poe-Lenta’s spaetzle mac and cheese, and A&B Burger’s Bavarian pretzels with beer cheese. Additional specials include sausage dishes from Taqueria El Barrio, bratwurst from Blue Ribbon BBQ and a pretzel bun burger from A&B Burger.

Reservations are not required to join the festivities. Optional tasting passes are available:

• Tasting Drink Pass — $20: Access to a curated tasting experience featuring 50+ beverage selections, with check-in at either 1 p.m. or 3 p.m.
• Food Tasting Pass — $30: A choice of four limited-time Oktoberfest specials for the price of three.
