Join Children Healing by Expression (CHBE) for our Annual Harvest Festival, a community-centered gathering rooted in connection, creativity, and healing.

Held at the Thornton St. Urban Garden in Roxbury, this event brings together families, children, and neighbors for an afternoon of shared experience and care. Attendees can expect a welcoming, open space where everyone is invited to participate at their own pace.

Throughout the day, we will share a communal meal and cook together, harvest fresh produce from the garden, and engage in creative activities such as mural and rock painting. There will also be time to gather at the healing tree, where individuals and families can honor and remember loved ones in a supportive and intentional environment.

As we move into the holiday season, this event is designed to hold space for both joy and grief, offering opportunities for reflection, expression, and community connection.

This is a free, family-friendly event. No prior experience with art or gardening is needed. Come as you are and take what you need from the space.
