In the Summer of Love, 1967, Munford sang the million-selling psychedelic record "Incense and Peppermints" by the Strawberry Alarm Clock (who toured with the Beach Boys, Buffalo Springfield and the Who among others). But while they play the fun, familiar songs of the Stones, the Meters, the Ronettes and others, Munford and Cohen is no cover band. With a guitar, a bass, 2 voices and a rhythm machine of loops, delays and programmed drums they breathe new life into old (and some current and original) tunes with a fresh sound that favors deep grooves over high volume for a new take on an old school vibe. Call it fresh classic rock.
