Come join us for a day of relaxation and pampering!
The Mum’s Time-Out Day will take place at Newton Meadows, Harmer Hill, Shrewsbury, SY4 3EA, between 10am-4pm.
During this time, you will receive an express 20-minute facial and 20-minute reflexology treatment. Lunch will also be provided, as well as drinks and snacks being available throughout the day.

Outside of eating and treatments, the day is yours to sit back and chill out. We will set up a reading area and crafts table for you. If you have any projects from home you wish to bring, please feel free. I will be providing some colouring pencils and colouring sheets, as well as some wool, crochet hooks and patterns should you want to take some time to do that too. Newton Meadows also has some lovely grounds to walk around, so I am really hoping the weather holds for us on the day.
If you are a foodie like me you will want to know a bit about the food in advance too- I am currently planning a Moroccan-inspired lunch, including a vegetable tagine, fruity cous cous, griddled chicken and halloumi skewers, homemade focaccia, hummus and flatbreads. For dessert, I am plan on making a meringue board with fruits and chocolates. Snacks are still under consideration, though no doubt will be along the lines of some homemade flapjack, biscuits, fruit, etc.
We want this to be as relaxing as possible for you- there is absolutely no dress code- please come in what you wish to lounge around in- and don’t be embarrassed to rock up with headphones and sit in silence for hours- if that’s what you need that is fine by us! We want you to make it your day, and truly fill your cup up with some much needed ‘me-time’. We’re all mums too- we get it!
