Friends in the fight, hear this urgent call! For over 43 years, our brother Mumia Abu-Jamal, innocent and wrongfully convicted, was born into a world that challenges Black lives—a system that made him a revolutionary. From hardship, he became a brave journalist and a symbol of hope against injustice, telling a powerful story of strength. At just 14, in 1968, Mumia joined the Philadelphia Black Panther Party, fighting for justice and self-determination. His determination inspired a vision to end racism, transitioning to journalism, where he shared untold truths on the airwaves, exposing police violence and social wrongs. In 1981, wrongfully convicted, Mumia innocent exercising his God given right giving truth to power being a hands on journalist of exposing racism, police tyranny, oppression towards African American people in Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Mumia in 1981 elected the President of the National Black Journalist Association, a Black Panther Deputy Minister of Information at the age of 14 and beyond was framed faced a flawed weaponized trial and sentenced to death in July 1982. After 30 years on Pennsylvania death-row solitary confinement and four signed death warrants attempts to permanently silence him by corrupted cops and state officials that knowingly politicized, weaponized, and implemented without a hearing in open court a unlawful life sentence. Yet, Mumia remains a voice for the voiceless. Evidence of his innocence exists, but he suffers health issues in Pr*son. This struggle represents the larger fight against systemic injustice, fueling our quest for fairness and accountability. FREE MUMIA ABU JAMAL!
