A weekend of speakers and workshops bringing inspiration and strategies to restore the joy, confidence and connection in our parenting and in ourselves.
What to expect at Mum Camp 2025
-----FRIDAY-----
5pm Arrive at Houghtons Bush Camp, 75 Motutara Road, Muriwai.
Register and receive a welcome gift.
Beautiful hor d’oeuvres and a delicious welcome drink;
Group welcome and introduction to the weekend along with a creative collaboration. Settle in and prepare to make the most of the weekend ahead.

Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner and getting to know your fellow Mum Campers. Art Workshops to inspire you for the weekend ahead.
-----SATURDAY-----
Start the morning with a special woman focused movement class (or sleep in.) Fuel up on our delicious fresh and cooked breakfast
10 am
Head into the day’s main event –
A workshop with the amazing Jo Moore of Happiness Hustler.
Jo is a Mum of 4 and a Life coach, Author, International speaker and Personal trainer( among other things!)
Jo loves working with women and teens to embody who they truly are. She brings processes to help you thrive and kick ass in both your parenting and your LIFE.
“There comes a time when love must lead louder than fear.” Says Jo. In this powerful session, you'll shift from fear into fierce unconditional love, shed shame, and reawaken the magnetic, majestic woman within.
You'll leave energised, empowered, and fiercely connected to yourself and your teen. Workshop runs from 10am until 2pm (with a break for lunch).
The day’s programme will be tailor-made for our event including practical take home tools and insights.
2 pm to 4 pm
Art/ nature walks/ connecting/ your free time.
4 pm
Workshop with Tarisha Tanouq.
Tarisha is trained in women-centered coaching, which means she truly understands the unique challenges and complexities that women face when it comes to their bodies and sexuality. Tarisha’s passion is to empower women to live their absolute best, joyful and self-expressed lives. Tarisha was an exciting new addition to Mum camp last year. We are really excited to be shining the light on our own inner Goddess once again!

6.30 pm
Dinner. This is always a highlight of the weekend!
Prepare to indulge in a stunning meal crafted by our local food heroes (and celebrities) “Good From Scratch”. Food made with love and from their own Muriwai gardens.
Late evening:
Time for creating, connecting, chilling, pampering…. And then bed!
-----SUNDAY-----
7 a.m
Morning movement session with a practitioner (or sleep in.)
8 a.m
Beautiful and bountiful breakfast.
9 a.m
Closing workshop. With the purpose of integrating what you received over the weekend and working out what to do with it.
Discussion circle. Celebration cake and tea ceremony.
Pack up and contribute to the clean up
12pm
Head home by midday inspired, reinvigorated and with even more respect for the important role you play in the lives of your beloved young people.
