Are you a tween with a great story that you want to share with the world? A ghost story, a non-fiction podcast idea, or something new altogether? In this hands-on workshop, kids ages 9-13 years old will learn the fundamentals of multimedia storytelling before heading into the library's podcast studio to bring that story to life with sound effects, music, and most importantly, their voice! Participants will leave the workshop with a complete recorded story and the tools and confidence to continue their storytelling journey. This workshop is led by Phil Duncan, Assistant Professor of Communication and Humanities at Eureka College.
Registration can be completed online at bit.ly/tweens0604, by calling 309.590.6168, or by visiting the Help Desk at the Library and registering in person.
