Broadcast Pioneers and the Delaware County Press Club will host a multicultural multimedia luncheon with panel discussion on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at McCall Golf Club, 201 N. Lynn Blvd, Upper Darby.
The collaboration marks the first time the two organizations will co-host a meeting in the 2024-2025 season.
A panel of broadcasters and journalists will discuss the importance of multicultural media and the valuable insights they provide to their communities.
Panelists include Kevin Andrade, President and CEO, The Voice Radio Network; Reporter Madeleine Wright, KYW-TV – ViacomCBS; managing editor, The Philadelphia Tribune; associate publisher Barbara Ann Zippi-Och, Delaware Valley Italian American Herald; and CEO and publisher Aphrodite Kotrotsios; Hellenic News of America.
Panelists will take questions following their remarks.
Consulate Generals from the Philadelphia Region will also be in attendance.
Broadcast Pioneers/Press Club events are open to the public. Advance registration is required. Tickets are $35 for Broadcast Pioneers and Press Club members, $40 for guests and nonmembers plus a nominal on-line transaction fee.
