Multicultural Moon Festival 2025

The Moon Festival is held in the CBD of Maroochydore.

The event will take place on 4th October, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Foundation Square, Lightning Ln, Maroochydore QLD

Drawing inspiration from the traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival and embracing Australia’s passion for multicultural events, the celebration will feature a diverse range of activities, including:

- Art exhibition

- Addresses by the guests speeches

- Welcome to Country by Indigenous elders

- Performances by a Chinese classical music ensemble

- Traditional Chinese dance and Dragon dance & Lion Dance

- Tai Chi and martial arts demonstrations

- Moon-themed musical performances (piano, guitar, flute.)

- Singing and dance acts by local artists

- An energetic fire dance performance and DJ entertainment
