This four-session Pottery Wheel Class for Beginners will teach you all of the basics of throwing on the wheel and working with clay. You will learn how to properly prepare your clay body, center and open on the wheel as well as trimming and glazing your final pieces.
Participants will have the opportunity to create, glaze, and keep two finished pieces. Finished pieces are fired by Dragonfly Pottery and available for pickup within four weeks of the final class.
This class is perfect for a beginner or for those who are looking for more practice on the wheel!
All materials are provided and no prior experience is required. Please wear clothes that can get messy. We provide aprons.
This class also fulfills the prerequisite for Studio Membership for those interested!
Four 90-minute sessions:
Saturday February 8th
Saturday February 15th
Saturday February 22nd
Saturday March 1st
Flexible make up sessions if one of the class dates does not work for your schedule.
Each class is held from 10:00am - 11:30am
This class is for ages 16 and over.
Maximum 10 seats per class.
$200/person. Payment secures your seat.
Afterpay is accepted for those signing up in-store and online.
