Multi-Chamber Legislative Day in Annapolis

Meet your elected officials, learn about legislation that can impact your business, tour the historic grounds, have lunch at the Governor Calvert House, and meet other Chamber members with an interest in legislative matters.

SCHEDULE

8:30 am: Proceed to State House – allow time for security – photo ID required

9:00 am: Meet as a group in the main lobby of the State House for Tour

10:00 am: Attend legislative session – choose either Senate or House

11:00 am: Brunch with Anne Arundel County Legislators – Governor Calvert House on State Circle Keynote Speaker is Mike O’Halloran, National Federation of Independent Businesses

1:00 pm: Workshop - Learn How to Testify, Aysia Rodriguez

1:30 – 3:30 PM Visit your legislators (make appointments in advance)

1:00 – 3:00 PM Attend committee hearings of your choice or

1:00 – 2:30 PM Public policy forum – panel discussion
