Lyth Arts Centre are building a new arts space for young people in Wick, and we don't want to send you a survey. We want you in the room.
What should an arts space actually feel like? Who gets to decide? Right now - that's you.
Join us for a free creative workshop where you'll explore, make, and say something that actually matters:
📖 Storytelling sessions led by Lauren Hall from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland - dig into what makes a creative space feel truly yours
🎨 Art-making with local artist Aimee Lockwood - zines, comics, illustration, collage, bold type, and more
💡 Your ideas become a real manifesto zine - printed and published
No experience needed. Just your voice and your imagination.
Together we'll create a youth-led manifesto - a collective statement that tells Lyth Arts Centre exactly what a space for young people should stand for, who it belongs to, and how it should feel.
You'll also find out about Royal Conservatoire of Scotland's newest degree, BA Arts with Community and how we can help you take your next steps towards it!
If you're aged 15-25 and have something to say, just turn up!
