About this Event

If you’ve joined me for one of my Moon Classes, you may have noticed that I use mullein torches during our New Moon and Full Moon rituals.

At the New Moon, we use them to light our intentions. At the Full Moon, we use them as part of our ritual of releasing and expressing gratitude.

There’s something really special about using a torch made from a plant — and now I want to share that experience with you.

Join me for a cozy fall afternoon of sound, creativity and connection as we begin with a deeply relaxing 45-minute sound bath before creating our own mullein torches using beeswax.

What to expect

🌙 45-Minute Sound Bath
Settle in, relax your body and quiet your mind with the soothing sounds of singing bowls and other instruments.

🌿 Mullein Torch Making
Learn a little about mullein and its history in traditional and folk practices, then create your own beautiful mullein torch using dried mullein and beeswax.

After our sound bath, we’ll gather around the firepit to make our mullein torches weather permitting. There’s something extra special about creating them outside in the crisp fall air, surrounded by the warmth of the fire. 🍂🔥

If the weather isn’t cooperating, we’ll simply bring the torch-making indoors. The sound bath will take place indoors either way.

Your handmade torch is yours to take home and use as part of your own seasonal or moon rituals.

☕ Stay & Socialize
There’s no need to rush away when the event ends. Stay awhile, enjoy some tea, chat and connect with the other women.

What to bring

Wear comfortable clothing for the sound bath. Everything you need for making your mullein torch will be provided.

Please note: Mullein torches are intended as a traditional/ritual craft. Burning any plant material or wax produces smoke and combustion byproducts, so use your finished torch responsibly and in an appropriate, well-ventilated setting.
