Join us on Sunday, July 19, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a relaxing BYOB (Bring Your Own Boat - kayak or canoe) paddle on the beautiful Mukwonago River to celebrate the merger of the Waukesha County Land Conservancy and Friends of the Mukwonago River!
We will launch from Eagle Springs Lake and paddle to Lulu Lake, with several stops along the way to observe wildlife, discuss the unique ecology of this exceptional river system, and learn why protecting the Mukwonago River is so important.
Please arrive by 8:30 AM to unload your boat and be ready to launch promptly at 9:00 AM.
This is a casual, beginner-friendly paddle, and an experienced guide will be on hand to share helpful tips and techniques so you can kayak and canoe like a pro. Whether you are new to kayaking or a seasoned paddler, all are welcome to join us for a fun and educational morning on the water. Please register so we can keep you up to date on any weather related changes.
