Mujumdar Wada Heritage Walk, Pune by PHW

Majumdar Wada in Kasba Peth Pune is the oldest surviving Wada in the city of Pune. A private Wada its still owned by the descendants of the Majumdar family. Built even before the Shaniwar Wada this Wada holds importance because Peshwa Bajirao himself stayed in this Wada while the construction of Shaniwar Wada was happening. It has a private museum inside housing various artifacts musical instruments utensils and clothing from the Maratha period. Pune Heritage Walk has exclusive access to this Wada. Join us for this once a year Heritage Walk at Majumdar Wada to explore it from the inside.
