Are you looking for support, accountability, and inspiration in the new year? Join Mujeres de Acción for a vision board workshop featuring Jessica Yacoub, a certified life coach with a master’s degree and over 30 years of experience helping individuals unlock their potential.

Together, we’ll dive into the science of visualization, break through limiting beliefs, and create a roadmap for your dreams. This workshop isn’t just about crafting a board; it’s about giving yourself permission to dream big and the tools to make it happen.

Event Flow Overview

• Total time: 90 minutes
• Limited to 20 participants
• Format: Interactive, reflective, and creative

What to Expect

• Welcome & Grounding: A warm opening to help participants arrive, settle, and connect with the intention of the gathering.
• Letting Go Ritual: A guided moment to reflect on what participants are releasing from the past year in order to create space for what’s next.
• Vision Board Experience: A hands-on creative session focused on clarity, intention, and forward-looking goals for the year ahead.
• Neuroscience of Visioning (Mini Talk): A short, accessible explanation of why visualization and intention-setting work, rooted in brain science and behavior change.
• Reflection & Integration: Time to pause, notice insights, and anchor takeaways that participants can carry forward beyond the event.
• Closing Circle: A collective closing to ground the experience and leave participants feeling connected and energized.

• A completed personal vision board
• Greater clarity around goals and intentions

Jessica Yacoub is a bilingual life coach, educator, and first-generation Mexican-American, and the founder of The Decision Bar. She holds a Master’s degree in Education, Leadership, and Change and brings decades of experience supporting women, young adults, and community organizations.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Jessica creates welcoming, culturally responsive spaces that blend reflection, creativity, and science-informed tools to help people move forward with clarity and confidence. She is excited to partner once again with Mujeres de Acción and gather with the San Luis Obispo community for a second year of connection, intention, and growth.

• Experiencia de Vision Board: Una sesión creativa y práctica enfocada en claridad, intención y metas a futuro para el año que viene.
• La Neurociencia de Visualizar (Charla Breve): Una explicación corta y accesible de por qué la visualización y el establecimiento de intenciones funcionan, basada en la ciencia del cerebro y el cambio de comportamiento.
• Reflexión e Integración: Tiempo para pausar, reconocer aprendizajes y anclar conclusiones que las y los participantes puedan llevar más allá del evento.
• Círculo de Cierre: Un cierre colectivo para integrar la experiencia y salir sintiéndose conectados y con energía.
