MUISS Amazing Race

Join MUISS, MSA's International Students group, to explore Melbourne City!

In teams, contestants will race across Melbourne’s CBD, solving puzzles, completing fun challenges, and navigating through the city together 🗺️ Along the way you’ll discover some of Melbourne's most iconic locations, and experience Melbourne in a way most students never do.
Top teams will win prizes worth up to $100, and everyone gets to enjoy lunch at the end of the race! So bring your friends, your competitive spirit, and get ready for an adventure across city of Melbourne!

Bring a friend, or come alone! We strongly encourage people to come alone, and make friends along the way! (If you do bring a friend, you're welcome to let us know but we can't guarantee you'll be put in the same group)

The event is run by International Students, but domestic students are also welcome to participate.

General itinerary of event:

• Meet at Federation Square at 11am
• Do tasks and challenges around the city!
• Meet back at Federation Square at 3pm for lunch!

What to bring:

• A mobile phone (and charger if you have one), so that you can be in contact with our reps throughout the event
• Yourself, and a friend if you want!
• Comfy clothes and shoes, there will be a lot of walking!
• Water bottles, stay hydrated!
• Snacks
• Any weather protection that is needed (e.g. hat, sunscreen, umbrella, etc, please check the weather in advance and pack accordingly!). Umbrella or Poncho highly recommended
• Your Myki pass to get into the city

Accessibility info:

• Will involve travel around the CBD in public. Could be bumpy roads and loud noises. if you have specific access needs, please chat to the team on the day!
