Biographie

Mugitaro ist ein 16-jähriger Pianist und Komponist, dessen musikalischer Werdegang genreübergreifend ist.Seit er sechs Jahre alt ist, erhält er eine fundierte Ausbildung in klassischem Klavierspiel, Solfège und Komposition. Darüber hinaus widmet er sich der Jazzimprovisation sowie der digitalen Musikproduktion mit DAWs und entwickelt so einen eigenen Klangstil, der Tradition und Innovation miteinander verbindet.

Mugitaro veröffentlicht seine Musik regelmäßig auf YouTube und in sozialen Medien. Zudem ist er Teil eines Organisationsteams für Salonkonzerte.

Musikalische TätigkeitenEr vertreibt Noten seiner eigenen Bearbeitungen bekannter Werke, bietet Performance-Coaching an und nimmt aktiv an Jazz-Jam-Sessions teil.

Darüber hinaus hat er Auftragskompositionen für Unternehmen und Künstler realisiert, darunter moco Earth Inc. (2023), Arata Sekimoto („Yokai Hakase-chan“) (2023) sowie SOZOW Inc. (2024).Im Januar 2025 trat er bei einem Hauskonzert in der Schweizerischen Botschaft in Tokio auf, und im Dezember 2025 konzertierte er mit dem Kammerorchester des Setagaya Music Competition Festival.

Biography

Mugitaro is a 16-year-old pianist and composer whose musical journey transcends genres. 

Trained in classical piano, solfège, and composition since the age of six, he also explores jazz improvisation and digital music production using DAWs, creating a unique sound that blends tradition with innovation.

Musical Activities

Mugitaro shares his music through YouTube and social media, regularly performs at local senior care centers, and is part of the organizing team for salon concerts hosted by his community center. 

He also sells sheet music of his own arrangements of well-known pieces, offers performance coaching, and actively participates in jazz jam sessions. 

In addition, he has composed commissioned works for companies and artists, including moco Earth Inc. (2023), Arata Sekimoto (“Yokai Hakase-chan”) (2023), and SOZOW Inc. (2024).

In January 2025, he performed at a house concert hosted by the Embassy of Switzerland in Tokyo, and in December 2025, he performed with the Setagaya Music Competition Festival Chamber Orchestra.
