Muertos Fest at Hemisfair
October 23, 24 & 25 at Hemisfair in downtown San Antonio, come experience 80+ handmade community altars, five stages of live music and performance, two candlelit processions, hands-on workshops, and the Muertos Mercado featuring local artisans and food vendors.
Friday evening opens with ¡Presente! A Night to Remember, including sensory-friendly altar viewing from 5 to 7 p.m.
Every altar is built by a family, a school, an artist, or a community member honoring someone they love. This is a living tradition, kept alive year after year by the community that calls San Antonio home.
Muertos Fest is the largest free Día de los Muertos celebration in the nation and San Antonio's most beloved cultural tradition. For 14 years, more than 100,000 people have gathered at Hemisfair to remember, honor, and celebrate together.
Recognized by National Geographic as one of America's Top 7 Fall Festivals and by USA Today as one of the 10 Great Day of the Dead Celebrations in the World.
🎟️ Free admission. All are welcome.
🕯️Remember. Honor. Celebrate.
