Art direction against apathy II: Beauty as Connection
Date: Wednesday, March 11th
Time: 18:00h – 19:30h
Location: Eina Bosc
Born in Colombia and based in Barcelona, Catalina Estrada has collaborated with major global brands and public institutions worldwide. Her mesmerizing use of color, organic forms, and intricate patterns brings joy to the eye and warmth to the soul, blending Latin American richness with contemporary design.
A central part of her trajectory is her commitment to social impact. Through projects focused on education, environmental awareness, and cultural preservation, she uses beauty as a tool for connection, care, and meaningful action. Her latest book, Contra la Oscuridad, is an ode to the power of beauty to confront apathy and bleakness.
This masterclass forms part of a double Open Masterclass (Art direction against apathy I: Giving Data a Human Trace).
The session by Domestic Data Streamers will take place just before, at 16:30h. You can attend both sessions consecutively in the same classroom. Reservation is required to secure your seat. More information and registration here.
Don’t miss this opportunity to reflect on how design can redirect our attention to our connection with each other and with the planet we inhabit.
