Mt.Tam Ocean to Summit Hike!

Come join me in hiking 15 miles for a good training hike at Mt Tam! This is one of four hikes I will be having, weather permitting, before I leave for Kilimanjaro in February. This hike will also kick off my Bay Area 6 Pack of Peaks and Ocean to Peaks challenges!
This is a 15+ mile loop with at least 3.5K in elevation gain.
This will be a HARD hike. I have done this before and it is a good training hike.
Dress for the weather, pack a good lunch, and lets have some fun. There may be candy at the top of the mountain!
We will meet the in Stinson Beach parking lot but it is closed until 9am so you will need to walk in. I have attached a photo of the meetup spot at the Stinson Beach parking lot.
Parking is a bit tricky. You need to arrive early to find available parking. I have attached a photo on the discussion board of a parking lot where we pass by on our way back. I will discuss parking more on 1/23! But be aware! I will be starting at 8am so plan accordingly.
I will have a Zoom meeting to discuss the hike and answer any questions on Thursday 1/23 at 7pm. Message me for a link to the meeting.

If you are having trouble viewing the may through Facebook look for me on All Trails, follow me, and find my maps. That seems to work.
Full disclosure I am NOT a professional guide or leader. Please consider your ability, skill, and endurance no matter how good you think you are. Fatigue, dehydration, etc. can happen to anyone. EVERY hiker is responsible for THEIR own safety, directions, and pace they hike. EVERY hiker is responsible for themselves for everything that happens to them on the trail. This is a self paced hike. We don't always stay together and are not obligated to. I create hikes on All Trails and invite everyone to join me. We laugh, make fun of ourselves, take lots of pictures, and have a good time. This is your hike to enjoy!
I always start on time. I have an OCD complex about starting on time. I do not wait, sorry. I blame my father for this. You can ask me about it on the trail.
