Join Bilbo’s adventure of a lifetime and all the Tolkien goodness in MtG: The Hobbit.
Be amongst the first to play with the brand new cards at the Good Games Canberra City Pre-Release!
Pre-Release is a great opportunity to crack in to the new set, play some fun and casual games, or get started with Magic: the Gathering.
In our casual event, all players will open a pre-release kit, containing 6x Booster Packs, build a deck from their cards, and then battle it out in a series of rounds. All players receive two additional booster packs just for participating.
Two-Headed Giant is a unique twist on your average Pre-Release, where you team up with a partner and play as one person! You have a combine life total of 30, and have concurrent turns, playing against another pair.
Bring along an experienced or completely new player for this fun alternative event!
Players receive prizing individually.

Registration: Pre-Registration is essential! Visit us in-store or call to lock in your place. Pre-registrations paid in advance.
On the day: Sign in starts 30 minutes before event start
REL: Casual
Format: Sealed - 50 minutes deckbuilding, 3x50 minute Bo3 Rounds.
Prizing: 2x 'The Hobbit' Booster Packs for Participation
