Whether you’re assembling Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, plotting with infamous villains, or discovering your favorite new cards, this is the perfect way to experience the set for the first time.
New to Draft? No problem!
Draft is one of the most fun and beginner-friendly ways to play Magic. Each player receives three booster packs. Everyone opens one pack, selects a single card to keep, and then passes the remaining cards to the next player. You’ll continue choosing cards and passing packs until all the cards have been drafted. The process repeats for all three packs, alternating the direction of passing each round.
Once drafting is complete, you’ll build a 40-card deck using the cards you selected, along with basic lands provided by the store. You’ll then play a series of matches against other players.
Because everyone builds from freshly opened packs, Draft is a great equalizer—there’s no need to own a collection or bring a deck from home. Experienced players and staff will be on hand to help explain the drafting process, deck construction, and gameplay, making this an excellent event for newer players and Marvel fans trying Magic for the first time.
