Prerelease is your first opportunity to get your hands on the newest Magic: The Gathering release and explore what the set has to offer.
Each of the 3 events has an entry fee of £35. If you participate in at all 3 events you'll be in the Multiverse Challenge, with a chance at winning a free pre-release next time round!

• Event 1 – FRIDAY EVENING:
Format – Sealed, Swiss
Time – Registration at 19:00, Start at 20:00
Parking – We suggest Odeon Cinema on Exchange Street which is free from 21:00 - 08:00 (otherwise £1.50 for 1h, £2.50 for 3h, £4 for 4h)
Prizes – Lorwyn Eclipsed Play boosters into the prize pool
• Event 2- SATURDAY EVENING:
Format – Sealed, Swiss
Time – Registration at 18:30, Start at 19:00
Parking – We suggest Odeon Cinema on Exchange Street which is free after 21:00 - 08:00 (otherwise £1.50 for 1h, £2.50 for 3h, £4 for 4h)
Prizes - Lorwyn Eclipsed Play boosters into the prize pool
• Event 3 – SUNDAY EVENING:
Format – Sealed, Swiss
Time – Registration at 18:00, Start at 18:30
Parking – We suggest Odeon Cinema on Exchange Street. Cost is £1.50 for all day

Additionally, the overall individual winner of the MVC gains free entry into a future Multiverse Challenge (3 events only)

To qualify for the Multiverse Challenge, you must play in at least 3 events over the weekend. Your total MVC points will be your 3 highest scores across the entire weekend added together (regardless of day).

HOW TOURNAMENTS ARE PLAYED:
For Sealed, you must build a minimum 40 card deck with the cards opened from your 6 sealed boosters (basic land will be provided). Armed with your deck, you fight your way through a tournament featuring several rounds of “best of 3” matches where you will face a different opponent each round.
