Dive into Foundations, and experience quintessential Magic: The Gathering by playing with and collecting cards selected to give every player the advantage. Whether a past, present, or future Magic player, Foundations invite you to share your spark!
Prerelease is the first opportunity to get your hands on the newest Magic: The Gathering release and explore what the set has to offer. Prerelease Packs contain everything a player needs to be guided through deckbuilding and begin facing off in epic one-on-one matches.
Each Prerelease Pack Includes the following:
6 Magic: The Gathering Foundations Play Boosters
1 Traditional Foil Rare/Mythic with a year stamp
1 Magic: The Gathering Arena code card
Spindown life counter
Play Boosters may contain these cards: FDN 1–361; SPG 74–83. Includes 1–4 cards of rarity Rare or higher (2: 26%; 3: 2%; 4: <1%) and 3–5 Uncommon, 6–9 Common, and 1 Land cards. 1 card of any rarity is Traditional Foil. Foil Borderless Mythic Planeswalker in <1% of boosters. Traditional Foil Land replaces a Land in 20% of boosters.
This is a casual event and the entry fee is just the cost of the kit. Participants will play 3 rounds of Swiss using the decks they contructed using the kit.
Cost: $35 - Please make sure you are registering for the correct flight time and store location before completing your purchase. We are not responsible for loss of spot in event due to incorrect flight/ticket purchase.
NO REFUNDS on orders when we are within 7 days of the event.
Prizing: Players will receive a Foundations Play Booster pack per round win as additional prizing support. If you lose all 3 rounds and finish the event you'll still be rewarded a Foundations Play Booster pack for your participation.
If you register for multiple Foundations Prerelease Flights you will also receive an extra Foundations Play Booster pack per additional flight past the first as a thank you.
