About:
Your very first chance to play with the cards from a brand-new set.
A week before the set is released, you can head to your favorite local WPN member game store to crack open some packs, build a deck, and try out all the exciting new cards and mechanics in a friendly, informal tournament.
Players receive a Magic: The Gathering: Foundations Prerelease Pack which contain the following:
- 6 x Magic: The Gathering: Foundations Play Booster Pack
- 1 x foil, year-stamped Rare or Mythic Rare
- 1 x Magic: The Gathering Arena code card
- 1 x deck box
- 1 x Spindown die
Players will then build a limited sized deck (40 cards minimum including lands) and play in a swiss pairings tournament.
After the final round, players will then receive their participation prizes.
