Standard uses cards from the most recently released Magic sets making collecting them for your decks easy! It’s a great format to hone your deck-building skills and play against friends at home or at your local game store.
Standard games are one-on-one with a 60 card minimum for the main deck (up to 15 card sideboard). Winner is determined either by best of one, or best of three games. These games should last standard length for a game (about 20 minutes on average).
Each year, new Magic sets are released and added to Standard. Once per year, after the fall set Prerelease, the four oldest sets in Standard rotate out.
Sets Legal for Standard: Foundations, Duskmourn: House of Horror, Bloomburrow, Outlaws of Thunder Junction, Murders at Karlov Manor, The Lost Caverns of Ixalan, Wilds of Eldraine, March of the Machine: The Aftermath, March of the Machine, Phyrexia: All Will Be One, The Brothers' War, and Dominaria United
PRIZING
The first 32 players will receive a Chromatic Sphere participation promo card. Players who finish the event in the Top 8 will receive a foil Reality Smasher promo card. The event winner will receive a foil Full-Art Void Winnower promo card. The event winner and players in the Top 8 will also receive an additional copy of their respective promo cards in non-foil with our store’s name printed on the card!
