The Michigan State University Recycling & Surplus Center not only boasts a state-of-the-art recycling facility--they supplement their diversion efforts with a vermicompost operation that utilizes over a million red wiggler worms to transform campus food waste into a valuable resource. Learn about MSU’s vermicompost and how their operation is repurposing food waste and fueling climate resilience.
