MSU Alumni Memorial Chapel Tour

The Mid-Michigan Spartans invite you to join us on our tour of the MSU Alumni Memorial Chapel. The chapel is home to lasting acknowledgements of alumni lost in combat, stones from cathedrals damaged in war, stained-glass windows depicting MSU's history and values, Pewabic Pottery tile floors and a gorgeous Létourneau pipe organ. A daytime visit to the chapel is optimal for observing the stained-glass windows.

Attendees will receive parking information for the event in a confirmation email sent prior to the experience. MSU will be on winter break and between semesters, so parking will be easier.

Attendees needing an accessible experience, there are accessible parking spaces available at the chapel and a wheelchair ramp into the main floor of the building. Please note that the chapel does not have an elevator. Restrooms are in the basement.

There is no charge to attend this tour. Space is limited. If you find the tour is full, please add your name to the waitlist and we will try to accommodate your participation. For those interested in making a donation to the Mid-Michigan Spartans to help cover the operating expenses of our club, contributions can be made using the donation ticket for this event. The donation ticket is separate from an event ticket. If you wish to make a donation AND attend the event, please select both ticket options.

Programming Note:

Our club intended to host an evening concert in December to experience festive music played on the organ. The concert schedules for accompanyists with the skills to play this particular organ made that idea impractical. We opted to delay an evening concert until 2025. If you've been waiting for that event announcement, know that it is still part of our future plans.
