MSL Community Tree Walk
About this Event
Morven Sustainability Lab Community Tree Walk
Join Louis Bubrig, a recent UVA PhD Graduate Student, Lab Specialist for UVA Biology, and Charlottesville Area Tree Stewards Volunteer for a guided exploration of several of Morven’s trees with the Morven Sustainability Lab’s historic core and formal gardens. Throughout this walk, visitors will learn about each trees place within the context of American history, and how they serve focal points for connections of time, landscape, culture, and environmental change.
This introductory 30-minute walk is designed to highlight the unique histories of individual trees while encouraging participants to consider what trees can teach us about the past, present, and future.
