Experience the revival of classic Blues, R&B and Soul with M’sippi Slide, led by the powerhouse vocals of Lijah, reminiscent of Aretha Franklin, Etta James, and more, M’sippi Slide takes you on a journey back to the raw, emotional sounds of the 1950s and 60s.

Transport yourself to a time when music was vibrant, soulful, and moved you to your core. Feel the irresistible beats that make you sway and groove with every note. Joining Lijah are esteemed blues musicians from the South Bay Area: Johnny Cat Soubrand on guitar, Frank DeRose on bass, Scotty Griffin on drums, and Ryan Ward on guitar.

Lijah’s passion for music traces back to her upbringing in San Jose, where she was immersed in the sounds of Aretha, Dinah Washington, Marvin Gaye, and more, thanks to her father’s influence. With M’sippi Slide, she brings these influences to life, captivating audiences with her own soulful renditions and infectious energy.

Tickets are $20 general admission. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available here, or if the show is not sold out, you may purchase your tickets at the door before the show.

Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash or Venmo only at the door.
