Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned rider, this is an annual requirement.

-- Pre-ride inspection checklist – T-CLOCS; stressing the importance of inspecting your motorcycle before you ride

-- Proper PPE requirements; stress that we work for the gov’t and have to follow the rules on and off duty, on and off base

-- Discuss riding skills/courses to take – how to sign up for courses

-- Local riding conditions – lack of streetlights, amount of wildlife, potholes, etc.

-- Licensing/registration requirements

-- Mishap trends to include locally and USAF/DoD

-- Risk management

-- Mentorship available on the base

-- If time permits, having riders share close call stories to harp on the importance of training and situational awareness
