This is the culmination of our almost year long fundraising for our charity of choice and the various charities that we are advocating. Our most awaited event- and I would love to share this moment with you!
As one of the Lead Fundraising Candidates, my chosen charity is the locally based Women In Need (WIN). I have been supporting and donating to this cause for years- so this is near and dear to my heart. Women In Need is a safe shelter for victims of domestic violence- providing refuge, empowerment & restoration to families affected by domestic violence. Furthermore, Believing that homes should be peaceful, WIN strives to educate families broken apart by violence to live by nonviolent means. By providing shelter to victims of Family Violence, working towards increase knowledge of the problem, and stressing viable solutions. The purpose of WIN is to eliminate family violence locally and be part of a widespread movement to create society that no longer tolerates the abuse of power through violence or any other means. We are seriously advocating for this charity.
