The San Juan College (SJC) Native American Center (NAC) presents the 18th Annual San Juan College Ms. Indigenous Pageant 2025. The Pageant takes place on Wednesday, September 24, at 5 p.m. in the Henderson Performance Hall. The SJC Ms. Indigenous Pageant dates back to 2008 and is a vibrant celebration of culture, traditions and ancestral heritage of Native American students and their communities. This cherished event offers contestants a powerful platform to honor displays of traditional artistry, time-honored skills and dynamic contemporary talents. The crowning of Ms. Indigenous is rooted in how she represents and expresses the spirit, values and legacy of Native traditions.
“As we gather for the 18th Annual SJC Ms. Indigenous Pageant, we celebrate not only the beauty of our culture, but the resilience, pride and voices of our Native American students,” said Brandan Ashley, NAC Director. “This pageant is more than an event; it is a meaningful celebration of cultural traditions and emerging leaders. Each contestant brings a unique story to share and demonstrates how to continue our Native traditions.”
The Pageant, emceed by Chizz Bah, is free and open to the public. Also, thanks to BeWell for their generous support of this event. Join us on September 24, to support the crowning of Ms. Indigenous San Juan College 2025.
