MRE is an Aspen based cover band comprised of locals Steve Cook, Laurel Fox, Kriss Harmony, Wes Lanich, Brett Nelson, Mike Ramos and Nat Zilkha. Originally finding their way together through a connection to bring music to their school, they now get together to play good time drinking music for their friends. All coming from disparate musical backgrounds they have all toured with other bands in the past playing popular clubs and large festivals around the US. They have also worked as session musicians in locales such as New York, Nashville and LA. Their main focus is classic rock and blues and their repertoire covers The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, The Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton just to name a few. Now they’re bringing their party back to the Belly Up.
