MRD (Live)
With releases on influential labels such as Live From Earth and regular performances across clubs and festivals throughout Europe, MRD has become one of the most prominent figures in Norway’s contemporary electronic music landscape. Equally compelling in the studio and behind the decks, he continues to push a sound that bridges melody, energy, and modern club culture, fusing genres such as new wave and hardcore into his signature dark techno sound. This night, he brings his music to life with his first-ever live concert in Oslo.
Zero Bats (Live)
ZERO BATS is a no wave / synthpunk duo from Oslo who creates experimental gothic music. Inspired by bands like Suicide, Bauhaus, and Wire, ZERO BATS creates a link between 80s and 90s post-punk and the modern alternative club and cultural scene. A combination of cyclical synthesizers, noisy guitar riffs, and abstract lyrics creates a dark, intense, and psychedelic soundscape. Through depictions of themes such as global warming, alienation, and life in a world dominated by technology and overconsumption, ZERO BATS critiques and satirizes today's society through their lyrics.
Little Miss Lucifer
Little Miss Lucifer previously sold records at the legendary HS Records in Oslo and has now become one of Oslo’s most skilled and perhaps most underrated DJs. She has worked behind the bar, handled cover, booked events, and danced at The Villa for nearly 15 years, and is now one of our resident DJs.
Nora Pagu
Nora Pagu Nora is well known in Norway’s capital, frequently seen at venues such as The Villa, Becco, Internasjonalen, Blå, and Trekanten. Her musical inspiration is mainly drawn from the UK club scene, with a rhythmic and soulful selection spanning UKG, afro, house, hip hop, funk, breakbeat, grime, techno, and 2-step.
DJ Valencya
DJ Valencya is the DJ alias of Trym Grydeland, the founder of the record label Project90 and the newly launched community radio station Rust Radio. As a club DJ, he traverses everything from hard groove and percussion-driven techno to breakbeat, bass, and jungle.
