You're invited to a special farewell celebration. Please join us as we honor Mr. Joe Buchmann for his outstanding service and dedication to the Music Department at Westhill High School. After 40 years of teaching, Mr. Buchmann is conducting his final WHS Choral Concert at Westhill High School.
Please join us for his Spring Choral Concert and Retirement Celebration at 7:30pm, followed by a community reception in the cafeteria. This concert will include performances by the Concert Choir, select choirs, and Mr. Buchmann will sing his very own Swan Song. As well, Mr. Buchmann would like to invite all alumni present to join the Concert Choir in singing Dubula, a traditional Xhoshan Folk Song, arranged by Stephen Hatfield. He will invite anyone interested in singing with the Choir to join for a rehearsal ahead of time at 6:45pm. He will have plenty of sheet music available to you that evening, and you can find many videos of performances online!

Alums who will be present at the concert: Mr. Buchmann would like to invite you to join the Concert Choir in their final song - come a bit early at 6:45 to run through the piece all together.

You may park on the Onondaga Boulevard side of WHS (4501 Onondaga Boulevard, Syracuse) and walk through the school to the Auditorium, or park on the Grand Avenue side (1379 Grand Avenue) and walk right in. Tickets are free and seating is general admission. We cannot wait to see you!
