Mr. Bergmann of Deadman’s Point

A basement in Sligo town. An embalmer and a mysterious stranger. One of them wants to disappear, while the other is desperate to be remembered forever.

Mr. Bergmann of Deadman’s Point is a new play based on the extraordinary true story of the so-called, Peter Bergmann, Ireland’s most famous unidentified man, who spent three days in Sligo town deleting himself, and was later found deceased at Rosses Point, Sligo.

A mysterious and comic tale which explores legacy, reputation and what it is to live close to death. It is brought to you by the multi-award-winning Nth Degree Productions.
