The Kirby Race is Back!!! Your favorite race is back with a new look!!
Planning on doing Boston Hyrox and looking for a tune up race? We got you covered! The MPD Sgt William Kirby Memorial is back with some exciting new changes. This race will be a Hyrox Sim. If you’re not familiar with Hyrox it’s a fitness race that combines endurance running with functional strength exercises. The standard race format includes exercises such Rowing, wall balls, lunging, burpee broad jumps and farmers carry.
It’s designed to be accessible for various fitness levels while being challenging, with consistent rules and stations.
We will be starting and finishing on Union Common, Main St Marlboro.
Please stay tuned for course route and exercise stations as details are finalized. Online registration will open soon.
This will not be a full Hyrox. It will be a half SIM. It can be performed as an individual, partners or relay team. Station are as follows and subject to change;
