Join us for an unforgettable evening of breathtaking music, international friendship and shared celebration as Lincoln Choral Society welcomes our friends from Philharmonischer Chor Liedertafel Neustadt back to Lincoln.
Earlier this year, our choir travelled to Neustadt an der Weinstraße in Germany to perform together as part of the long-standing twinning relationship between our two cities. Now, we are delighted to return the favour, welcoming our German friends to Lincoln for what promises to be a truly memorable concert in the magnificent surroundings of Lincoln Cathedral.
Together with the Lincolnshire Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of Mark Wilde, the combined choirs will perform three of Mozart's best-loved works:
- Requiem (Mass in C Major)
- Spatzenmesse (Sparrow Mass)
- Eine Kleine Nachtmusik
Whether you're a lifelong classical music lover or simply looking for an inspiring evening out, this promises to be a wonderful night of music. It's also a chance to celebrate the friendship between our two choirs and the twinning relationship between Lincoln and Neustadt, brought to life through some of Mozart's most beautiful music.
