Mozart in 3D

Mozart is perhaps the most mysterious of musical geniuses. Listening to Mozart’s music, known as “Mozart effect” increases brain power; some parents believe that exposure to Mozart in utero helps develop genius babies.  In the animal kingdom, the sound of Mozart’s music increases milk production and improves hen fertility. 

We will meet Mozart the man and Mozart the composer through opera excerpts, chamber music and pieces for piano four hands in order to uncover a 3D panoramic view of his time.

Who knows? Perhaps immortal Mozart, bored of  sitting on his throne on musical Mount Olympus, will decide to grace Toronto with his presence at Off Centre? Join us to find out.
