Southampton's longest running open mic for spoken word!

Join us in the cosy café bar at Harbour Lights, Ocean Village (if we get a bonus late summer warm evening, we may move onto the terrace, so bring a warm layer in case).

Moving Voices is a uniquely supportive, intimate open mic night - with a view of the water.

We are a safer, welcoming open mic ideal for beginners or folks testing new material.

Featuring monthly special guests and loyal regulars alongside total newcomers, this evening never fails to inspire and uplift with voices that will move you to tears and laughter.

Performers, please arrive between 7 & 7.30pm to sign up.

The bar will be open before and during the event, please support our hosts by buying drinks and snacks (they also do lovely pizza and other light suppers, which we highly recommend!)

Tickets are by donation, please give what you can to support the event. Booking in advance helps us guage numbers - we give priority for open mic slots to folks who book in advance, so if you wish to perform, grab your ticket here and we'll see you there!

We will be running our usual safer space, with accessibility box containing fidget toys, earplugs, sunglasses and masks.

The event will be held in the cafe bar (indoors) unless it's really warm, in which case we might venture out onto the wasterside Terrace (bring an extra layer to wear in case).
