In this workshop we will discover our natural athleticism, connection with the ground, and a movement-directed awareness. Using ideas from creative and improvisational dance, the participants will be guided through explorations of how we move. Deep listening to our sensory experience, along with some inspired exercises, will lead us to moving vigorously and freely from the innermost parts of ourselves.Taught by Skunk!
Skunk is a creative, a player of imagination games, and a improvisational mover. Training in numerous dance styles, from childhood through now, including contact improv, post-modern, and social dances. His sense of wonder for how we move through space and time with our bodies is what drives his practice. After a five year break from teaching Skunk is excited to bring this workshop to CSYC.
