The City of Gold Coast Movies Under the Stars program is free, family-friendly fun on offer from September 2025 through to April 2026 right across the city.
Gather your family and friends, pack a picnic or take advantage of delicious food options available in the local area.
*** TICKETS NOT REQUIRED – JUST SHOW UP! ***
Tickets are not required, however you can ‘reserve a spot’ on Eventbrite to sign up for event updates/reminders.
- Event date: Friday, 9 January 2026
- Location: Fisherman’s Lawn, Broadwater Parklands, Southport
- Event starts at 5.00pm with kids' activities, face painting, live music, and with food trucks onsite.
- Then stay for the movie starting at 7.00pm!
Movie: Paddington in Peru
When Paddington discovers his beloved aunt has gone missing from the Home for Retired Bears, he and the Brown family head to the jungles of Peru to find her. Determined to solve the mystery, they soon stumble across a legendary treasure as they make their way through the rainforests of the Amazon.
