Movies Under the Stars 2026 Schedule:

Wednesday July 15 - Bend It Like Beckham
Monday July 27 - Hoppers
Wednesday August 19 - a mystery movie!

This movie is offered in English. Register for the French-language movie .

Time: The show will start at dusk (approximately 9pm), but we encourage you to arrive an hour early to get a good spot.

Location: Lake's south side (English movie) and Meadow (French movie)

To help ensure everyone has a great time, please read the entire post before registering/attending.

Ticketing:

Please register to let us know you are coming. Why? It will help us prepare for the event and should there be any weather related postponement or cancellation, you will receive the notification directly to your email. We encourage you to come by to our Downsview Park tent when you arrive to say hello! We may even have some surprise giveaways.

Getting there:

You can access the lakeside via Keele St, near Downsview Park Blvd.

If you’re already in the Park, follow the Circuit Path to the Orchard Pavilion.

Please be advised that parking will be limited. We encourage you to walk, bike or take transit to the event if you can!

What to bring:

- There will be vendors and treats from Good Behaviour like ice cream and smash burgers!

- You’re also welcome to bring food and snacks, but please take any garbage with you or dispose of it in our bins to leave no trace.

- Feel free to bring blankets, lawn chairs, hammocks, pillows and anything that will make your movie watching experience more enjoyable.

- You may also want to consider bringing bug spray.

- Pets are allowed but only if they are leashed and quiet. Please respect other attendees.

Washrooms:

The Orchard Pavilion washrooms will be open for the duration of the event.

Weather:

If heavy rain, lightning and thunderstorms are forecasted, we will be rescheduling to a later date for the safety of our staff and vendor. This will be communicated to registrants the morning of the event day.
