Step into the world behind the camera and learn how Hollywood art departments bring cinematic worlds to life. In this hands-on intensive, students will learn how construction crews collaborate with production designers, art directors, and scenic artists — then put that knowledge to work, getting certified to use professional tools and industry-standard techniques to build flats, platforms, braced set walls, and practical openings. By the end of the course, participants will have real-world experience translating production design into physical builds while working with the same construction methods and safety practices used on professional film and stage productions.
